“J” is our fearless leader! She brings a wealth of circus experience and a love for the circus world! She is also an IL certified educator with experience teaching in pre-K through middle school. Coach JBird is Director of Circus Education at Kazoo, teaching classes, workshops, and events of ground-based circus skills, as well as German Wheel National Champion 2018, Runner-up 2019  and is an ongoing presenter at AYCO/ACE Conference 2016, 2017 & 2019. circuskazoo@gmail.com

Dave is a German Wheel World Championships 2016 team member, 7 time National Champion, and continues to train/teach with Wheel Jam National Team in Chicago. After years in circus arts of all kinds, Dave has unmatched excitement and experience to offer our troupe members in both recreational and competitive wheel programs. Dave has lead the competitive team to success, including our first National Wheel Championship in 2018 in Senior Ladies as well numerous top finishes for Junior Girls and Boys.

Coach Eve joins the Kazoo team to offer aerials including trapeze, silks, lyra, and hammock. She has experience as head of aerials at Triton Troopers Circus and has a wealth of time performing on stage and in the air. She will help you or your child stretch, strengthen, and defy gravity!

Coach Casey is a wheel gymnastics specialist, excelling in vault and tumbling. He has collected a great deal of experience as an athlete (World Wheel Championships 2018 Team, Champion Doubles Wheel Competition 2018, Runner Up Nationals 2018) as well as an amazing performer and showman.

The Wegners have been throwing things for decades. Ken, Richard, and John team teach our object manipulation class or “Juggling Club” to enthusiasts of all ages. Specialties include ball and club juggling/ passing, diabolo, flowersticks, and contact juggling.
